Thank you for shopping at Paper Crain Books. Please read these terms before ordering. If anything is unclear, contact us at hunterc@papercrainbooks.com before you buy.

Descriptions and condition

Every book is described as accurately as we can manage, including edition, printing, binding, and any flaws we notice such as wear, markings, repairs, or missing parts. We guarantee that each book is as described in its listing. Photographs show the actual copy for sale. Condition grades reflect the trade standard.

Availability

Our inventory is also offered on other platforms, so all items are subject to prior sale. If a book sells elsewhere before your order is processed, we’ll tell you promptly and refund any payment in full.

Pricing and payment

All prices are in US dollars. Accepted forms of payment shown at checkout. Payment is due at checkout. Checks or wire transfers are available by arrangement. Orders may be held until payment clears.

Sales tax

Sales tax is collected where required by law. 

Shipping

Domestic shipping is by USPS media mail, unless prior arrangements are made. Orders usually ship within 3 business days of payment, unless notified about time away or additional delays. 

International orders

Buyers are responsible for any customs duties, import taxes, or fees charged by their country. Delivery times vary by carrier and customs processing. If international shipping for a particular book is unusually costly, we’ll let you know before charging you, and you may cancel the order. Certain items may not be available for international shipping. We reserve the right to deny international shipping if issues arise. 

Returns

Any book may be returned within thirty days of receipt for a full refund. It must be in the same condition as originally sent. Please contact us first to arrange a return. Internationally shipped items are not available for returns.
